The research did not locate an official Jackson County retention window for public booking photos, so avoid any fixed promise such as "photos stay online for 24 hours" or "all released photos remain searchable." Jackson County Mugshot Law

What is and isn't public: A current roster may be public without showing every photo or historical record. Active investigations, protected details, release status, transfer status, and agency custody rules can limit what appears online.
Federal and immigration systems are more limited for photos. BOP's public locator is for federal custody and release-date information. ICE ODLS is a custody locator based on A-number or biographical fields. Neither should be described as a public federal mugshot gallery.
